The Alaunus Platform and Services works like most best-practice web applications with seamless updates automatically pushed to you from time-to-time without you having to do anything. Basically, the Alaunus team is constantly improving things in the background and launching new features that simply appear the next time you login or refresh the page. However, in some rare cases your Browser, Operating System, or Network may not get the entire update properly requiring you to perform a "Hard Refresh" to ensure you receive the latest updates.
Why Do I Have to do a Hard Refresh?
Sometimes your browser fails to properly update the Alaunus Platform and Services. This can occasionally to all web apps and platforms usually because something was blocked or interrupted on your Browser, Operating System, or Network or because your Browser failed to update it's cache properly causing you to not receive the latest the updates. All browsers use a resource called the cache to locally store files in order to load them faster the next time you need them. Unfortunately, the cache isn't perfect and it doesn't always know when updates have been made to those files and a newer version needs to be downloaded. This is why we sometimes need to clear the cache or do a hard refresh.
If this case persists we'd recommend you checkout Supported Browsers and Troubleshooting Steps.
